TODDLER TUMBLING

Toddler Tumbling is a fun, movement-based class designed to help young children explore their bodies, develop coordination, and build the foundation for lifelong athleticism. Held exclusively at our Middlebury, Vermont Academy.

This program is led by expert movers with years of experience in jiu jitsu, grappling, and athletic movement training. Instead of rigid instruction, the class focuses on guided play, tumbling patterns, balance exercises, and simple obstacle courses that help toddlers develop essential motor skills in a safe and supportive environment.

At this age, movement is learning. Rolling, crawling, climbing, and balancing all help build the neurological pathways that support coordination, confidence, and physical awareness later in life.

A key part of the program is parent participation. Parents will learn simple tumbling games and movement drills they can do with their child at home, helping reinforce the skills learned in class while creating fun bonding moments outside the gym.
